2025–2029 ESG Strategy

Below we present our strategic approach (2025–2029 ESG Strategy) to sustainable development along with directions and goals in environmental, social, and governance areas.

Thanks to properties such as strength, corrosion resistance, and, above all, full recyclability, aluminium offers enormous potential. It is a desired element on the path to a climate-neutral economy, essential for the development of many industries. Through an efficient circular economy, we have a real impact on reducing our environmental footprint.

2029 target: 40%

Formula
Cumulative percentage

Measuring method
% weight of low-carbon ingots / total weight of ingots used in the extrusion process

Description

Scrap content is defined as the total amount of post-consumer, pre-consumer and home scrap (according to ISO 14021) in the ingot production charge (6xxx series alloys) on the melting and casting line (Z+P) at the Kęty foundry.

2029 target: 77%

Formula
Cumulative percentage

Measuring method
% weight of aluminium scrap / weight of ingots

2029 target: <1

Formula
Annual quantitative target

Measuring method
No. of accidents / time worked x 200,000
