The final of the ‘Let’s Clean the Beskids with the Polish Tatra Society 2022’ project was held on 17 June 2023. Groups headed for the mountain tracks in the area of Hrobacza Łąka to clean them of litter. During this year’s edition the there were held three mountain tracks cleaning actions close to the mountains of Klimczok (Beskid Śląski), Babia Góra (Beskid Żywiecki), and Hrobacza Łąka (Beskid Mały). Jointly, 938 people, including 718 children and youths, managed to clean the mountain tracks of 6,000 litres of waste within the ‘Let’s Clean the Beskids with the Polish Tatra Society 2023’. It is good news because there was relatively little waste, similarly as in the previous edition.
Grupa Kęty and the ‘Grupa Kęty for the Children of the Podbeskidzie Region’ Foundation have been partners of the project for many years. We wish to thank our employees and the children under the care of the Foundation for engagement in cleaning our planet.
