On 16 May, at the stadium of ‘Czarni Jaworze’ local sports club, the Polish Championship of Youth Educational Centres took place. Through the preliminaries, 6 centres from all over Poland plus the host of the preliminaries were selected. The total of 60 charges took part in the Championship.
Some of the charges of the Youth Educational Centres are children from children’s homes. Sport is a very important aspect in the process of those children rehabilitation. It is an alternative way to improve their skills and gain appreciation among adults. Very often, the children do not have the support of their parents, and it is us who show them better life and appreciation for their talents and skills through such events.
