On 8 June, in Bielsko-Biała, there was held a special Family Picnic for Foster Families – an event full of emotions, joy and thrill. Despite rainy weather, the atmosphere was extremely warm – literally and metaphorically.
It was a day when we could all say: Thank You!
We are grateful to foster families for their daily efforts, patience, dedication and their great hearts given to children. We wish to thank for their sharing a home, time and love.
The picnic was a real feast. There were attractions for young kids: contests, awards, musical performances, sports competitions, as well as an exceptional stone painting – each stone was a symbolic promotion of the idea of the ‘Share Your Home’ project. Thanks to such small gestures, the message of support and openness will be shared on a large scale – colourful, positive and full of hope.
Many institutions and companies engaged in the organisation of the event. These included also the ‘Grupa Kęty for the Children of the Podbeskidzie Region’ Foundation, which, as always, engaged in and supported the event with all their hearts. See the video material.
