‘Mountains not Keyboard’ project run by the ‘Grupa Kęty for the Children of the Podbeskidzie Region’ Foundation – summary of three years on mountain trails

Within the project there was planned the 503 km long Main Route of the Beskidy Mountains, but we had such a great time😊 that we also covered the Short Route of the Beskidy Mountains (134.4 km long) and the Main Route of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains (92.7 km long).

The project was attended by 257 participants: we covered 3 main long-distance routes, 730.1 km in total and spent 53 days on mountain trails within 36 trips. We have it!!!

We cordially congratulate all the participants and wish to sincerely thank to the subject-matter partner of the project – the Polish Tatra Society in Bielsko-Biała, and specifically Mr Szymon Baron, Chairman of the Society and an employee of ALUPROF – a company of Grupa Kęty Capital Group. We would also like to express our appreciation and gratitude to all the educators from children’s homes who participated in the project together with the children and young people. We wouldn’t make it without you!

The closing ceremony was an opportunity to present diplomas, badges and awards, as well as to enjoy a ‘mountain treat’, as the menu was inspired by the mountains.😊

We are not slowing down😊 and hitting the trails again – ahead of us is The Loop of 224.4 km and our project for young adults – the Crown of Europe.
