The carport, a roof equipped with a photovoltaic installation, has been constructed in our company’s internal parking area. The new carport covers 6 parking spots and transforms the space into not only a parking area but also a source of electricity.
The installation includes 50 solar panels with a total capacity of 21.7 kWp. Annual energy production is estimated at 20.1 MWh, all of which will be used for internal purposes.
The structure is 100% self-made! The carport was entirely manufactured at our plant in Kęty, using aluminum profiles that we designed, extruded, anodized, and cut ourselves !
The energy generated by the carport significantly reduces the operating costs of the air conditioning systems in the administration building—by more than 50%! It’s not just a cost-saving measure but also a step toward a lower carbon footprint!
