In July, at the Campus Bemke Educational Centre there was held workshop for the employees of the Capital Group and their families. Participation in the workshop was a form of an award for taking part in the Biodiversity quiz, which enjoyed great interest and was a perfect occasion to extend biological knowledge.
The workshop participants were divided into two groups: one of them dived into the world of micro-organisms, and the other dealt with DIY activities building homes for wild pollinators.
The participants could:
✔ experiment with micro-organisms under a microscope;
✔ learn about the role of fungi, bacteria and viruses in the ecosystem;
✔ learn how to support pollinators by way of building special homes for them;
✔ develop technical and creative skills.
It was a perfect occasion to combine knowledge with practice and arouse interest in the world of nature and environment! 🌱🧪
