Environmental stewardship is one of the cornerstones of the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy in Grupa Kęty S.A. In its production processes and in the company as a whole, the Group strives to ensure the best possible ecological neutrality and maintain durable and sustainable development; therefore, in its environmental activities, our Group is not limited only to the compliance with Polish and EU standards.

The colours of players’ T-shirts formed a wonderful rainbow. As many as 12 teams participated in the tournament. More than 100 players, including as many as 3 teams of employees’ children, competed on football pitches! For the first time, apart from children from children’s homes, there were also young players from the family foster care from Oświęcim county. Two GrupaKetyTeam teams took part in the run in Gdańsk. They were very successful as they were ranked 2nd and 16th among 228 contenders! The teams included adult young people supported by ‘Grupa Kęty for the Children of Podbeskidzie Region’ Foundation and the educator from one of the establishments. As part of ‘Get to Know our Group’ programme, five children supported by the Foundation enjoyed the opportunity to visit Slovenia from 29 August to 1 August 2017.

This year’s art contest for children of employees titled ‘Etyka dla Smyka - Super Bohater!’ (‘Ethics for the Little Ones – a Superhero!’) became very popular.

The primary objective of ‘Kindergarten Pupils from Podbeskidzie Region’ programme is to ensure ideal conditions for children to develop their physical fitness and their brains at multiple levels.

The total of 96 young under-18 players: 25 female pairs and 23 male pairs, competed in tournaments on sandy courts in Cieszyn, Wadowice and Wisła. There was fair play, fun, competition and prizes funded by Grupa Kęty S.A.

On 1 June 2017, all Polish companies of the Group launched a special “Opieka medyczna S” additional medical insurance programme for their employees in cooperation with an insurance company PZU Życie S.A. and an insurance broker PWS Konstanta.

On Sunday, April 23, the 42nd Bike Rally took place in a very changing weather. It was sunny, but there was also some snow, hail and strong wind. In spite of this, over one thousand young and older bikers went on this two-stage rally.
