We are pleased to announce that the “Bike Help” campaign is starting.
This is a project of the ARKA Ecological Foundation. As part of the project activities for sport (cycling) and ecology (reduction of Co2 emissions) combine with charity (kilometers traveled into bicycles for children and adolescents).
Grupa Kęty has been a partner of the event for several years supporting the campaign. The beneficiaries of Grupa Kęty Foundation for Children of Podbeskidzie are the beneficiaries of the campaign – only in 2018 they were given 15 bikes.
The action in 2019 gains an international dimension because on www.bikehelps.pl kilometers are collected on bicycles for children from Ukraine.
As part of the “Bike Helps” campaign, cycling kilometers of participants will be turned into dream bikes for children from Ukraine – orphans in the ongoing war. We want to give the first bikes to Ukrainian children on the occasion of Children’s Day in 2019 – says Wojciech Owczarz, the head of the “Ark”.
