On 20 March, a meeting took place that brought together people, ideas and stories around the shared goal of supporting foster care. During the event, the sixth Foster Care Tree was unveiled in the garden of the ‘Klimczokówka’ café in Wapienica, and decisions were made regarding further cooperation between the organisations.
Children in foster care took part in workshops, symbolically bidding farewell to winter and welcoming spring. They also tasted a delicious ‘Sharing Bun”. The event ended with signing a letter of intent, which opens up new opportunities for working together with the ‘Nadzieja’ Foundation. This is an important step – one that will enable the creation of projects that raise awareness of foster care, build understanding and show just how much good can come about when someone decides to share their home.
