Grupa KĘTY listed among
50 Polish Global Companies

Grupa KĘTY occupies 22 place in the list of 50 Polish Global Companies with ambition to expand internationally and build strong brands. The list was prepared by the Polish Global Entrepreneurs Council [RPPG], which has been operating for several weeks.

The reasons for creating a new business organisation were explained by Fakro CEO and RPPG’s Main Board Chairman Ryszard Florek:  ‘Poland has been operating within the market economy system for 35 years, and for 19 years it has been a member of the European Union. Despite that, our country develops slower with regard to globalisation compared with countries where a crucial number of local companies are global.’ He is of the opinion that the growing number of global companies in a country increases the affluence of its citizens.

The list of 50 Polish Global Companies comprises many companies from southern Poland, such as Maspex, Fakro, Wielton, Synthos, Wiśniowski, Mokate, Press Glass, as well as large listed companies which have had global ambitions for years, including  Assecco Poland, LPP, CCC, CD Projekt, Adamex, or Drutex.

Finding its place in mid of the list of 50 Polish Global Companies, Grupa KĘTY is in a good position to head for leading the list. In 2022 the Company generated record foreign sales of PLN 3.1 billion (growth by 34% y/y).

Exports to nearly 56 countries represented as much as 52% of total sales of the Capital Group in 2022. It is a proof that a company with strong regional roots may create modern products, for which there are practically no limits. ‘They enable to transform the key sectors of economy towards zero emissions’, says CEO Dariusz Mańko.
