Since the very beginning of the ESG strategy implementation, Grupa Kęty has been inviting its employees to take part in the employee suggestions programme in order to jointly work for the effective performance of the climate policy. This time the award went to Ms Sabina Dziadowicz and Ms Katarzyna Bargiel, employees of the Extruded Products Segment. Congratulations!
Their suggestion consisted in limiting the consumption of cardboard used in logistics processes.
The implementation of the suggestion reduced the consumption of raw materials and, consequently, the packaging waste generated, while increasing the economic efficiency of the process. The reduction in cardboard consumption is linked to the elimination of GHG emissions at the material production/waste processing stage.
The project implements the principles of circular economy, thus meeting the criteria of the ‘Green Group’ programme.
