One of the projects within the ‘Together with the Group’ programme was Alpaca Therapy. Nursery school children could meet two alpacas: Hektor and Santos. Classes were managed by a qualified therapist, both at the nursery school and on an outing in Lipnik. Alpacas are sweet and beautiful animals, and also very friendly. They are mild and calm, bright, intelligent and sensitive. It appears that participating in Alpaca classes supports the educational, emotional, cognitive and social functions. Such meetings contribute to endorphins release and reduce stress.
