A grant within the ‘Together with the Group’ programme helped and enabled refurbishment and repair of electrical facilities at the IRYS Family Allotment Gardens. The area and the building were cleaned of the flooded, unfit for use objects. The office was renovated: tiles were placed on the floor, and panels on the walls. Then the common areas were furnished with chairs and cabinets, and walls were clad with panels. The gazebo was cleaned, yet the wooden parts still bear the marks of the flood. After water was removed, in order to carry out any work needed, the electrical switchboard was repaired and the wiring brought to a state of safe use.
On 31 May, an event on the occasion of the Children’s Day was held at the Gardens. The owners may now care for their gardens with a smile on their faces, and enjoy relaxing in the peace and quiet of the nature.
