On Tuesday, June 18, in the recreation area of Bystra near Bielsko-Biała, the final ecological workshops for children of employees taking part in the campaign combined with giving diplomas, prizes and cuttings for independent planting in home gardens and balconies were held.
We remind you – the originator of the LETTER FOR EARTH is the Ecological Foundation ARKA. The action is defined by two words: EDUCATION and ACTION. Young people write ecological letters to adults. As part of the action, thematic lessons, exhibitions and happenings take place. Topics covered waste management, promotion of recycling and pro-environmental attitudes and activities. An important element of the action is to prevent burning of rubbish in household furnaces. The Capital Group joining the campaign supports the idea of sustainable development and encourages employees’ children to write a letter.
