Three intense days in Białka Tatrzańska

One of the activities the Foundation focuses on a lot is the idea of educating through sport. The entire year is filled with events and the Foundation encourages children to participate in them. This time, as it is winter, skiing was very much promoted. For a few years now, the Foundation has been the Social Partner of REKSIO THE DOG’S CUP, i.e. a ski competition for children and young people. This year was exceptional for the already fourth REKSIO THE DOG’S CUP, as it coincided with the 50th birthday of Reksio the Dog cartoon character. The organisers, i.e. KS LIVE sports club, took advantage of this opportunity to even more strongly promote Bielsko-Biała and Reksio the Dog character, but also skiing for children and young people, and organised the second edition of the Cup in Białka Tatrzańska. The Foundation engaged its children who willingly agreed to be volunteers and help before and on the day of the competition in Białka Tatrzańska.

Taking advantage of the stay in such a cool place as Białka Tatrzańska, the Foundation invited the volunteers to participate in other attractive activities. For two days, children and young people were skiing with and without instructors, because they turned out to be very talented and were doing really great. There was a time to relax in Bania thermal baths, but when it was time to work they did it very well. On the day of the competition, they helped the competition office giving out player numbers and promotional packages for players or serving hot tea on the slope.

‘Grupa Kęty for the Children of Podbeskidzie Region’ Foundation would like to congratulate the organisers of Reksio the Dog’s Cup and the children supported by the Foundation for their commitment.
