The 5th Reksio The Dog’s Cup competition took place on 7 February 2016 on Dębowiec slope in Bielsko-Biała. More than 360 young participants enrolled for the competition, which included two slaloms in six age groups. The Capital Group of Grupa Kęty S.A., guided by the idea of educating through sport, became one of the Partners of the event for the third time. Children of the employees from the companies of the Capital Group participated in the competition (21 persons) and the Management Board paid their enrolment fees, their passes to use ski lifts and insurance costs. The total financial commitment of the Group in the event was 11,500 PLN.
“Educating through sport” is an important element of the company’s social activities, and the popularization of the most famous Polish cartoon character for children – REKSIO THE DOG, created in the Animated Films studio in Bielsko-Biała, where ALUPROF S.A. (one of the largest companies in the Capital Group) is based, was an additional advantage of the event.
