The Management Board of Grupa Kęty S.A. (hereinafter referred to as the Issuer) informs about today’s receipt by Alupol Films Sp. z o.o. (a direct subsidiary of the Issuer) (hereinafter referred to as Alupol Films or the Company) of decision No. 343/2025 on aid with regard to running business within the Special Economic Zone of Krakowski Park Technologiczny [Kraków Engineering Park], on properties located in Małopolskie Province, District of Oświęcim, Municipality of Oświęcim, City of Oświęcim, of the total area of 6.1138 ha (hereinafter referred to as the Properties) and the possibility of tax exemption with regard to eligible costs of the new investment project carried out on the Properties (hereinafter referred to as the Decision).
Within its business, in response to growing market needs and for the purpose of further production capacity development, Alupol Films plans to carry out an investment project (hereinafter referred to as the Project) consisting in improving production capacity of the existing plant of the Company in Oświęcim, covering the extension and modernisation of production capacity and purchase of a modern line for polyolefin films manufacturing. The project will contribute to extension of the production volume, improvement of product quality, improvement of engineering processes capacity, and is going to increase the Company’s competitiveness on domestic and foreign markets.
Alupol Films committed to incur PLN 300,000,000.00 eligible costs at the site of the investment by 31 March 2028, which is the maximum amount of eligible costs in the event of availing of a tax exemption and creating at least 15 new work places. The Company also committed to fulfil specific quality criteria related to sustainable economic and social development.
The decision was issued by the management of Krakowski Park Technologiczny for the period of 15 years.
The Investment project is a major element of the Development Strategy of the Capital Group of Grupa Kęty S.A. for the years 2025-2029.
