Grupa Kęty Foundation for Children of the Podbeskidzie region had to suspend many of its projects and activities due to a pandemic.
Securing the health of children and young people as well as carers of orphanages has become a priority. At the same time, support them in the distance learning process. The foundation together with the companies of Grupa Kęty and Aluprof and the company Biba Styl equipped children’s homes with the necessary masks, disinfectants, rubber gloves, visors and laptops.
This is the first response on our part – says M. Sobczak, president of the foundation. I would like to thank the companies for their help and transfer of appropriate funds. We bought laptops from the foundation. It is a difficult time for all of us, social isolation affects our pupils in particular, they do not have the opportunity to meet the family, there is a ban on visiting. We have a serious challenge in how we can help them at this time. One of the forms of activity is definitely the Letters for the Earth action. We encourage them to write a letter, the most active children’s homes will be honored by us. We will look for other forms of activity because we can see that they willingly take on challenges.
