Europe is building a wall around its industry – Gazeta Wyborcza

How can we reconcile ambitious climate targets with economic competitiveness? And what can be done to ensure that European companies can compete effectively with global manufacturers?

CEO Roman Przybylski answers these questions in an interview with Maciej Bednarek for *Gazeta Wyborcza*.

According to the CEO, what we need above all is:

  • a truly single European market, with fewer administrative and regulatory barriers,
  • competitive energy prices and better integration of the European energy market,
  • conditions that will enable European companies to achieve economies of scale and compete effectively not only at home but also on global markets.

It is not about less Europe, but about a better-functioning Europe. It is about an economy in which climate ambitions go hand in hand with competitiveness, and where market protection does not replace the building of real industrial strength.

From the Keta Group and Aluprof’s perspective, this is a particularly important discussion. A strong industry means not only jobs and investment, but also economic security, technological expertise and the capacity for further development.
