The weather and climate , determine human life on Earth and have a decisive impact on the entire biosphere.
Climate change that we can currently observe is extremely serious for our civilization. Global warming has increased on the Earth’s average temperature. One of the causes is carbon dioxide emissions from the energy, industry, transport and agriculture. This is an important topic for everyone, especially for business that have an impact on climate change. Grupa Kęty S.A. for several years he has been preparing a statement about non-financial data. The 2019 report will additionally include the Capital Group’s approach to the impact of the organization on climate change. In preparation for this topic, a selected group of employees directly dealing with reporting non-financial data was invited to the training of the Institute of Accounting and Taxes on “Effective reporting of enterprise activities aimed at climate protection”. The training was conducted in the offices of the Management Board of Grupa Kęty by dr hab. Eng. Paweł Bogacz, professor at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The main purpose of the training was to discuss in detail the reporting of the company’s climate protection activities according to the European Commission guidelines published on June 18, 2019.
