Lovers of people, books and the environment will have another opportunity to buy interesting books at bargain prices and support children from orphanages and day care centers.
“The response to the campaign is sensational. We gave a second life to over 20,000 books. Almost 3,000 children and youth from orphanages and day care centers have already been helped. For these children, we funded tickets to the cinema or theater and organized a variety of ecological workshops – explains Wojciech Owczarz, its originator (Ecological Foundation Arka).
The National Action Route is also under way. “Book supports the protagonist” will premiere in May and June , in the following cities – Katowice, Cieszyn, Opole, Kraków, Rzeszów, Warsaw, Bydgoszcz and Gdańsk.
Martyna Wojciechowska, Jerzy Owsiak, Marek Niedźwiedzki, Janina Ochojska, Anna Dymna, Robert Biedroń – they have already supported the campaign by passing their books with special dedications.
