Mr Dariusz Mańko, Grupa Kęty CEO, has been nominated as one of three stock listed companies CEOs to the award of ‘BULLS and BEARS’ in the category of the ‘CEO of the Year’, which has been awarded by the ‘Parkiet’ daily of the Warsaw Stock Exchange for 28 years.
The justification of the nomination reads:
Dariusz Mańko, a manager – institution, who has managed Grupa Kęty since 2005. The style of management is determined by the Open Pension Funds domination within the shareholders, which means that the objective of the company is to care for the portfolios of the retired. In the second year of the pandemic, the processor of aluminium has thrived even better than in the first year, availing of high demand. An unprecedented growth of raw materials prices was a challenge, but has proven to be highly beneficial for the results, thanks to the policy of inventory acquisition and stocking. The results forecasts have been increased a few times. Also the whole programme for the years 2021–2025 has been corrected. The quotations soared to record levels, and the company paid out the highest dividend in its history.
Among the nominees of the ‘BULLS and BEARS’ award in the category of the ‘CEO of the Year’ were also Mirosław Błaszczyk, the CEO of Cyfrowy Polsat, and Beata Kozłowska Chyła, the CEO of PZU (who finally received the main prize).
