We have another long-term project under the name ‘Experience Poland with the Foundation’. The project is directed to the charges of the ‘Grupa Kęty for the Children of the Podbeskidzie Region’ Foundation, with the main objective to travel around Poland visiting national parks, historic places and cities, lakes, rivers and many other attractions. This year two trips have been planned for July and August.
One of them is already finished. The charges of the Foundation took part in a two-day trip in which they canoed for the first time along the Mała Panew River, also called the Polish Amazon River. The river is very safe, clean, friendly and warm. The average depth is only 40 cm. The waters are of first cleanliness category and the sandy riverbed contributes to fast water warming. The children also visited such places as the Dinosaur Park, Evolution Park, Amusement Park, Tunnel of Time, Prehistoric Aquarium, Palaeontological Pavilion, authentic excavations and many other amazing places.
The project has been carried out together with the Beskidy Cyclist Society.
