The Management Board of Grupa Kęty S.A. hereby informs that the Company’s Supervisory Board, at its meeting held on 28 March 2018, appointed, with effect from 28 March 2018, Mr Rafał Lechowicz as a Member of the Management Board of Grupa Kęty S.A. The expansion of the composition of the Management Board of Grupa Kęty S.A. with the manager of the Flexible Packaging Segment results from the growing scale of operations of this segment and hence of the Group.
Mr Rafał Lechowicz is 47 years old and has higher education. He studied at the Faculty of Management and Computer Science at Wrocław Academy of Economics, he also completed post-graduate studies in the subject of trade in goods at the University of Wrocław and post-graduate studies at the Cracow University of Economics in Krakow at Cracow School of Business Faculty-Institute, in the field of Management Studies, major: ‘Improving company management skills’.
His career has been associated with Grupa Kęty S.A. since 1996. In 1996-1997, he was a sales manager, and then, in 1998-1999, a sales director in the Flexible Packaging Segment of Grupa Kęty S.A. In 2000, he became the managing director of the Flexible Packaging Segment, which comprised two plants in Tychy and Kęty. Since 2009, he has been the President of the Management Board and the Chief Executive Officer of Alupol Packaging S.A. and has managed the operations of three companies: Alupol Packaging S.A. (the parent company), Alupol Packaging Kęty Sp. z o.o. (a subsidiary) and Alupol Films Sp. z o.o. (a subsidiary). Prior to joining Grupa Kęty, he had worked in Fabryka Maszyn ‘Fadroma’ S.A. in Wrocław and Zakłady Chemiczne ‘Rokita’ S.A. in Brzeg Dolny.
Mr Rafał Lechowicz is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained by the National Court Register. Mr Rafał Lechowicz has declared that he does not carry out business activities that would be competitive against the Company’s activities, and does not participate in any other competitive business as a partner in a civil law partnership, a partner in a partnership or a member of authorities of any competitive company or of any other competitive legal person.
